FARGO (KFGO) – Several people are expected to face state and possibly federal drug charges after warrants were served at three locations in Fargo, including a hotel.
Police say 1,400 fentanyl pills, two ounces of heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, a pistol and nearly $52,000 in cash was seized.
Red River Valley SWAT was used while one of the warrants was served because of the violent past of one of the suspects.
Police consider the seizure of the fentanyl pills significant. They’ve been linked to several recent overdoses. Fargo is nearing the overdose levels seen four years ago when there were a number of drug-related deaths.
