ST. PAUL, MN (KFGO) – Staff and customers at Minnesota bars and restaurants are being asked to pay close attention to COVID-19 health guidelines during the 4th of July weekend.
The request comes from the Minnesota Licensed Beverage Association, the Minnesota Craft Brewers Association and Hospitality Minnesota.
“We really just cannot afford to take a step backward as you’ve seen in a couple of these other states and we’re really asking people to do their part,” said spokesman Ben Wogsland.
He said hospitality workers should wear masks at all times and customers are strongly encouraged to do the same when not eating or drinking. Clusters of coronavirus cases have recently been linked to Minnesota bars.
