MENOKEN, N.D. (KFGO) – One person is dead in a wrong-way crash on I-94 near Bismarck.
The state patrol says a 49-year old Bismarck man was driving a Chevrolet pickup east in the west bound lane when it was hit head-on by a Ford pickup carrying five people, including three children, ages 4, 6, and 8.
Those in the Ford pickup were taken to a Bismarck hospital. Their conditions are not available. The driver of the Chevy pickup was dead at the scene. The crash happened just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday 4 miles east of Menoken.
The crash shut down eastbound traffic for about two-and-a-half hours.
