Chewy Energy Balls
I’ve tried many combinations of protein or energy balls and this one is my favorite! It is also the easiest. They’re soft chewy and really easy to just throw in the fridge and grab on your way out the door. Energy/Protein Balls are also a great mid day snack to give you that sudden boost of energy.
Ingredients:
3 tbsp Honey
1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
1 1/2 cup Rolled Old Fashion Oats
1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
1/3 cup Flax or Chia Seeds
Whisk together Flax/Chia seeds with Oats in mixing bowl. Then add in honey and peanut butter. Mix well. Fold in chocolate chips. Put mixing bowl in the fridge for an hour. After cooling roll into balls and store in fridge.
This recipe only makes 12 so double the recipe if you want more. I also use a mix of flax, chia and hemp that I LOVE. It’s the Badia Trilogy Health Seed mix.
