Cats are attached to their owners just like dogs, and even get separation anxiety.
Researchers surveyed 130 cat owners and found more than one in ten cats exhibit behavioral issues when apart from their owners.
Reported issues include aggressiveness, depression, excessive meowing and both inappropriate defecation and urination.
They found that cats appear more likely to have separation issues if living in a house with no women, two women or young adult owners.
