Bemidji, MN – Authorities in the Bemidji area are looking for a suspect in a deadly shooting. Police initially responded to Sanford Hospital Monday night for a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound.
Minutes later officers and Beltrami County deputies were called to another shooting where they found a 20-year-old man dead. Investigators say the suspect – 18-year-old Antonio Parkhurst of Bemidji – fled the scene on foot with a handgun.
Parkhurst is considered armed and dangerous and is not to be approached. He’s a Native American with short black hair, brown eyes, and slender build.
