Looks like we'll be guaranteed new music from Pink for a good long while.
The singer has just signed a new, worldwide, multiple-album recording deal with her current label, RCA Records. The label issued her most recent disc, The Truth About Love, which hit #1, produced a string of hits, earned multiple Grammy nods and has sold over two million copies in the U.S. alone.
The Truth About Love was actually Pink's first album for RCA, but now we know it won't be her last.
"I am super-duper excited to continue onwards and upwards with RCA and my team there," she said in a statement. "We work really well together and they care in a way that artists don't get to see very often anymore. I look forward to whatever the future holds for us and am so beyond thrilled with how much they believe in me. Woohoo rock n roll!"
Pink performed "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" on the Academy Awards last Sunday. That performance is posted on her official website if you missed it.
