WEST FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- The cause of last Saturday's fire that heavily damaged the historic St. John's Lutheran Church on the grounds of Bonanzaville in West Fargo cannot be pinpointed.
State Fire Marshal Ray Lambert says a deputy state investigator was able to determine where the blaze originated, but he wasn't able to come to a conclusion on the exact cause.
It started above the ceiling in the basement. Lambert says there are no indications that the fire was suspicious.
The Bonanzaville Board of Directors has yet to decide whether to make repairs or tear down the 118 year-old church.
