Fargo (KFGO AM) There's been another accidental shooting in Fargo. A man shot himself in the arm Monday morning.
Police say the gun was wrapped in a towel that was inside a sleeping bag and went off as the man was handling the items in his garage in the 3000 block of 23rd Avenue South. The .40 caliber bullet was found lodged in the dashboard of a vehicle in the garage.
Police are also investigating another gun accident Saturday night at an apartment on Amber Valley Parkway. This time no one was hurt but a gun discharged and the bullet lodged in a wall. Lt. Joel Vettel says in the past month, there have been six accidents involving pistols that resulted in 1 death and two injuries.
It's not yet been determined if the two most recent accidents will result in charges.
