FARGO (KFGO-AM) -- The four candidates for Moorhead mayor have met for one of their final debates ahead of Tuesday's election.
Kevin Shores, a Gulf War veteran, says he'd like to have a better understanding of what people need and want before making any major proposals.
Candidate Del Rae Williams says she doesn't believe residents feel connected with what goes on in city government.
Council member Mark Hintermeyer says if he wins the mayor's seat, he'd work to find a consensus on various issues with the new council.
Councilman Mike Hulett says he'd like to see more of a focus on Moorhead's large college population with an emphasis on employment, housing, the arts and entertainment.
The four candidates appeared on KFGO'S "Mike McFeely Show."
