BISMARCK (KFGO-AM) -- A city council member in the small town of Leith southwest of Bismarck says people are pleased that a judge has denied bond for Craig Cobb.
Cobb was hoping to convince followers of his white supremacist beliefs that they should join him and help take control of city government. Cobb is in jail on a terrorizing charge. Councilman Lee Cook says the court action may keep Cobb out of town for good.
Bail for another man charged along with Cobb has been set at $50,000 cash. That man's girlfriend has left town. She was living in a house that Cobb purchased.
The state has started the process of condeming the house.
